This is among the original Kershaw Blurs, the Blurs that began it all. Like all Blurs it's geared up with a huge, slightly recurved blade that's perfect for multitasking. The blade shape provides both outstanding slicing and piercing abilities and the high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel provides corrosion resistance and firmness. The black Blur has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) covered blade for extra corrosion resistance and improved looks. This Blur's partially serrated blade offers extra cutting power for finishing rope, cord, and other fibrous products. As you might expect, the black Blur has black manages with Trac-Tec grip-tape handle inserts for an extremely strong grip. The handle itself is long lasting 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, often referred to as "aircraft aluminum" considering that it is a common product used for aircraft fittings. However the main point is that it's lightweight, incredibly long lasting, and-- when anodized-- accepts a color so we can create colored deals with that are scratch resistant and extra hard. For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is geared up with SpeedSafe helped opening. A brief push on the thumbstud conquers the resistance developed into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes control of and the blade vacates the handle rapidly and quickly. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocketclip is reversible for your option of tip-up or tip-down carry. There's even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.
